Rustic Aesthetic
After suffering a flood in the basement, the clients were ready for a new design based on a rustic aesthetic. They had seen some old brick out traveling, so we implemented a brick wall in their lower-level bar. Shiplap and floating shelves surround the bar, and cabinetry was removed to create a more open space. We added a fireplace surrounded by the same brick used in the bar. The game room entrance was opened up by removing the existing French doors. A wood drinking ledge, barrel game table, and Ohio State sports memorabilia adorned the room.
