We carried the brick from this client’s family room into the dining space and the upper glass display cabinets in the kitchen. We added accent lighting in the display cabinets to highlight the brick feature. The ductwork was covered with a beautiful walnut wood feature to mix function and form, giving intentionality to the design. The Cambria countertops were carried up in a full height backsplash for a beautiful and simple look. We chose Transitional patina hardware to add character amidst the white cabinetry and she optimized storage space, including a built-in pull-out trash can. The space was grounded with a deep cherry stain on the peninsula.
