The client wanted to maintain the charm of the 100-year-old house while updating the space and implementing more storage. We were inspired by rustic design elements, wanting to flow with the rest of the home. First, we painted the fireplace and added a limestone hearth. We utilized the space under the stairs and made it a pull-out storage area that blends with the wood trim when closed. The chandelier is the focal point of the entryway, and the entry table and bench serve as functional pieces in the room.
