Cozy Blue Primary
Bedroom

From the start, the client knew they wanted to highlight wallpaper in this primary bedroom. The room did not have an ideal focal wall so Michelle decided to move the wallpaper to the ceiling for added interest and provide a serene and cozy retreat for the homeowner. Using the tranquil blues and greens from the wallpaper combined with touches of mustard, chestnut leather and cool greys, we landed on an earthy color palette for the bedding and other furnishings in the room. Reeded wood details can be seen in the furniture which then tie into the overhead light fixture and accessories. Michelle used crisp white for the window treatments and trim to keep the room clean and bright. For the finishing touch, she accessorized with an abundance of textures and materials including alabaster, wicker, antique gold, terracotta and natural greenery.
